The Rib Team is made up of a group
of medical doctors who come from a variety of specialties, each lending
a valuable and unique perspective to the understanding of how to treat
the complicated medical conditions that many of our patients have.
The team assesses individual rib candidates
and confers about the various issues
that determine whether or not our program might benefit a particular child.
In this way, we are able to address the overall needs and health of a patient
rather than merely a single of the patient's condition. Once a candidate
is accepted for treatment, these physicians will oversee and administer
all care for rib patients during hospital stays.
